Aliquando Choir Brings to Life Full Drama of Handel’s Solomon

Patricia RizzarioAliquando Chamber Choir’s concert on 14 November in St Mary’s Church, will bring to life the full drama of Handel’s oratorio ‘Solomon’ with superlative soloists, a double choir, pianist Anita D’Attellis and Aliquando orchestral ensemble led by Peter Davies. The concert is in aid of Wyfold RDA Riding for the Disabled.

The top billing internationally acclaimed soprano Patricia Rozario OBE sings the role of the Queen of Sheba, and Solomon by up-and-coming young Countertenor Timothy Morgan. The two harlots, Meryl Davies and Helen Withers fight over a baby which highlights Solomon’s much vaunted wisdom and the instantly recognisable music announcing the arrival of the Queen of Sheba will stir many happy memories of nuptial bliss.
