A group of friends (Gary & Stephen Blackmore, Louise Earl, Sabrina Prabhu-Naik and Steph Maxwell) have organised several memorable parties in the past and they’ve decided to utilise their skills and talents locally, having a blast whilst helping others and launching an annual fundraiser in Henley.
RaGin9 Events was launched to organise unique events with the aim of becoming an annual highlight in the Henley social calendar. It is made up of a leader of a band, a DJ, a dancing diva, an events producer and a creative teacher. Their first event an 80s Party to raise money for NOMAD on Saturday 8 April (7.30-11.30pm) at Harpsden Village Hall.
Steph Maxwell said, “It is for anyone who wants to step back in time and get into the groove. We will have plenty of tastes, sounds and sights Especially For You to have a ball and make you feel young again! So, if you’re In the Mood For Dancing come on down. A full live band is playing a set honouring many fabulous 80s artists, there is food and drink with a nod to nostalgia, a raffle and a few other surprises to make sure everybody has a fabulous evening.”
