Yinke Oyekan ‘In Fathers presence’ Yinke leads the Gate Church in Reading. Last summer they experienced God in amazing ways as thousands of people with Reading responded to an invitation to hear about Jesus through street based contact. This has now developed and is an approach being used successfully elsewhere in the UK. It all comes out of being in God the Fathers presence though.

Reflecting on their own themes, each member of 'Print at the Park' uses the Pintmaker's Eye to contribute to this top quality exhibition of work.

The fascination for their individual subject is skilfully expressed through various printmaking techniques including etching, linocut, lithograph drypoint and monotype. The group works from the 'Print Room' at South Hill Park where they hold several exhibitions throughout the year as well as exhibitions at many external venues.

The power and abundance of the countryside is their motivation and inspiration, but artists Jan Marshall and June Hiscock choose to express their love of nature in very different ways.  While Jan's intricate drawings, prints and canvases explore the atmosphere, tones and patterns in the natural world, June's bold and colourful fabric art celebrates its vibrant hues and textures - often with some gentle humour.

Collaborating for the first time in this 'Second Nature' exhibition, Jan and June present a varied, fresh and highly original range of their favourite current work.
