Last week 1st Henley Brownies visited Henley Fire Station to learn about fire prevention and to earn their Fire Safety badges.

Firefighters Alistair and Andy told the Brownies what they should do if their house was on fire, how to call the emergency services, the importance of smoke alarms and to plan an escape plan for their home.

Afterwards the Brownies had great fun trying on some of the firefighter’s clothes and sitting inside the fire engine.

Michaela Clarke, Leader of 1st Henley Brownies said, “It was a fun visit to learn about something really important”.
