Sacred Heart May Fair is World Class

Sacred Heart School’s May Fair had an international world theme this year.  Each stall had a different country flag sticker to collect and the food stall had a delicious range of foods from around the world including Poland, Russia and China.

Karen Edwards, the headteacher who is always up for a laugh, not only put herself up for being wet sponged again, she squeezed herself into one of the little tyke car aeroplanes for the jet set race.

Narelle Chidwick, chair of the PTA, said “The best turnout, atmosphere and highest takings to date for our School May Fair. The profit will be in the region of £2,800-3,000 and will be put towards a great new garden room they want to build for small group classes, music and cookery classes and guided reading groups.  They need to raise £65,000 to build this new teaching space.
