Mayor’s Christmas Houses… Oh What Fun!

day1-5

‘Oh, what fun we had’ decorating our Mayor’s Christmas house, we’re sure is what the children would be singing whilst they decorated their house.  Eighteen different houses were on show at the Old Fire Station Gallery on Saturday ranging from the Badgemore Lodge covered in bark and leaves, the Valley Road Round The World House, the 1st Henley Brownie Christmas house with elves, gnomes pixes and imps inside to Gingerbread houses from St Mary’s, Rupert House and Valley Road plus a Haunted House from Rupert House.

Lots of children came to see their house and the others on Saturday to the delight of the Mayor, Stefan Gawrysiak and a few of snuck inside to try them out for size.  He said, “I organised the houses for a bitter of extra Christmas fun for the children of Henley.”
