Valley Road Children Star in Charity Talent Show
Singing, dancing and karate moves were all part of the Valley Road School Talent Show this week.
The children in each class voted for their top two class acts who then performed in front of the whole school and parents in the school hall on Wednesday this week.
The event was also to raise money for the schools chosen charity, Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Services who provide Alexander’s Nurses who support families across Berkshire in their own homes, providing much needed respite, palliative care, emotional and practical support. They are also working towards building Berkshire’s very own children’s hospice for these local families which will be supported by a home care team.
Headteacher Tim Coulson said “It was wonderful to see every year group taking part to support a charity that is so close to our hearts.”
