Record Number Complete Reading Challenge

Every year Oxfordshire Libraries invites school age children to take part in a Summer Reading Challenge which encourages them to complete the challenge to read at least 6 books over the school holidays.  This year’s theme was Animal Agents and a record number of 116 children took part at Henley Library and completed the challenge.

Tricia Lovell, Assistant Library Manager said, “For the first time this year, because of a generous donation by the Bell Bookshop we also had a prize draw Treasure Hunt which was won by Hayley age 11 and Edita age 7 (pictured above).
