Gainsborough Residents' Association Toy Run to John Radcliffe Hospital

Put a Smile on a Child’s Face in Hospital This Christmas

Children facing being in hospital this Christmas will be cheered up by a special delivery of gifts from Henley’s Christmas Toy Run to Oxford Children’s Hospital again this year.

The annual Christmas Toy Run organised by Paula and Dave from the Gainsborough Residents Association started in 2014 and every year has put smiles on the faces of the children.

Tesco Henley will once again be partnering with the initiative and on Saturday morning (23 November) Paula and Dave will be in store encouraging people to donate a gift.  As well as toys, donations of books, puzzles, DVDs, arts and craft sets, toiletries etc. would all be gratefully received.  A donation basket will also be available in store for the next few weeks.

The Toy Run will take place on Saturday 14 December, leaving Henley at around 9.15am and anyone who owns a motorbike and would like to join the run would be really welcome and should call Dave on 07836 202508.

Donations of pre-loved or unwanted gifts that are as good as new are also welcome and can be dropped off at the collection point in the Town Hall.
