THP Solicitors Showing Support for Good Divorce Week

Henley based THP Solicitors and Herald sponsors are showing their support for “Good Divorce Week 2020” which starts on Monday (30 November), an annual campaign that aims to promote practical and constructive ways for separating parents to put the needs of their children first.

Organised by Resolution, a community of more than 6,500 family justice professionals, this year the campaign focuses around the benefits of early legal advice, as the organisation prepares to re-launch its public facing Code of Practice. It is so important to get swift and pragmatic expert legal advice, and we recognise that accessing that in these socially distanced times is an issue all the more” said Richard Rodway, Partner in charge of the Divorce & Family Law team at THP Solicitors. I am always happy to have an initial conversation with someone over the telephone or video link, without them having to physically attend our offices, so that I can help them make sense of their situation and make informed decisions as to next steps regarding a divorce, separation, or issues involving the arrangements for children.”

Resolution members believe the process of separating, sorting out finances and arranging childcare should be done in a way that minimises conflict and keeps the best interests of any children involved at the heart of proceedings. There is no silver bullet approach to divorce, as every family is different. However, by seeking early professional advice, couples have the benefit of considering a range of options and making a decision that is most suitable to them.

If you need support to guide you through the divorce process, please contact Richard Rodway or Julia Drury at THP Solicitors to arrange a consultation on the possible next steps www.thpsolicitors.co.uk
