The Henley Masters Regatta Committee (HMRC) is pleased to advise that it is planned to hold the 2021 Henley Masters Regatta on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 July 2021.
Steve Dance from the HMRC said, “The regatta committee is looking forward to the return of competitive racing and wishes potential competitors good luck with the return to on the water training in the run-up to the competitive season. Clearly the regatta will only be able to proceed if the easing of national and local lockdown regulations continues in line with current government targets. Over the next few weeks plans will be made and arrangements, including logistics, reviewed and amended where necessary. Assuming all is positive, entries will open in May and we expect to make further announcements soon, as plans and arrangements are confirmed.”
Established in 1994, Henley Masters Regatta is held on the Friday and Saturday of the second weekend in July, which is the week normally following Henley Royal Regatta which this year has moved to 10-15 August 2021. It is hosted and run by Upper Thames Rowing Club (UTRC).
