Dreaming of Green Christmas?
Pop down to the square in Henley on Saturday (4 December) to get some ideas about eco-wrapping.
The Rotary Club of Henley-on-Thames will be showing what is and what isn’t recyclable when it comes to wrapping presents. Some of the stuff we buy looks like paper, but is in fact plastic-coated and polluted with non-recyclable glitter and spangles.
But this is not a bah-humbug moment. There are lots of colourful and environmentally friendly alternatives. It’s all part of Rotary’s commitment to the environment and our End Plastic Soup campaign to get plastic out of rivers and seas.
Come by and say hello, telling us that you saw the invite here.
