Henley Manor Care Home Gets Festive With Christmas Fair

Residents at Henley Manor Care home and their families enjoyed a Christmas Fair at the home on Mill Lane last Friday which was raising money for Bluebells Day Centre.

As well as stalls selling Christmas gifts and wreaths from Velvet & Blooms, there was a Santa’s Grotto where residents and children could not only meet the main man himself, Father Christmas but could meet two of his friendly sheep too.

Father Christmas asked resident Pam, what was on her wish list for Christmas?  Before she could answer, fellow resident and joker Mac replied “Do you want my biscuit?!  Pam said, “He’s very naughty and he’s the official troublemaker!”

Charlotte Bennett from Henley Manor Care Home said, “Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas fair, it was a fantastic event that raised further funds for Bluebells Day Centre. Residents and guests got to enjoy Christmas stalls, mince pies, mulled wine, a raffle, festive entertainment and a Santa’s Grotto supplied by Basil and Crew Mobile Farm. It was lovely to see everyone together and we are already planning to host the event once again next year on a grander scale and hopefully inside in the warm!”
