Free Fun Trails at Museum This Half Term
Escape to the Museum whatever the weather this half term, with a free trail around the Museum; The Moonstone Door (7+), Time Travellers Inventions: Trail (6+) or Tiny Toad’s Treasure Hunt (under 5s). Wander through the celebrated Wind in the Willows exhibition, dress up in the Henley Gallery, enjoy lunch in The Chocolate Café, then take our special duck feed to some hungry neighbours along the river.
Tiny Toad’s Treasure Hunt (Under 5s)
Can you help Tiny Toad find different treasure around the Museum? Enjoy this self-led indoor family trail taking you on a journey of discovery all around the galleries.
Time Travellers Inventions Trail (6+ years)
Let Archimedes take you on a tour of discovery around the River & Rowing Museum, introducing you to some of the most amazing inventions.
The Moonstone Door (7+years)
Thamesis and Isis are two evil sorcerers that have been set free in the museum. Can you make your way around the Museum and banish them using their own magic against them in an immersive adventure trail?! The Museum has partnered with an escape room designer to create a two part adventure! Take up the challenge of Skyscape Escape: Part 1 The Moonstone Door.
The Museum is open every day during half-term, 10am to 4pm and gallery frails are included in the general admission. No pre-booking required.
The Museum’s much-loved dressing up is BACK so you can imagine you’re dressing up for the regatta in 1900 and The Discover! area is also OPEN and full of activities and quiet book-reading spaces for young minds.
