New Artists & Collections at Artistry Gallery for February

Apparently it’s February already! Artistry Gallery and Picture Framing on the Reading Road (opposite Christ Church Centre) is settling well into 2022 with new work being delivered on a regular basis from all their lovely artists and makers.  Keep an eye on their window next week, as there will be a beautiful new collection of smaller works from the lovely Julie Adlard! Stunning scenes overlaid with clay and soft subtle washes in wonderful shades of aquas, greys and warm pinky reds.

There are  also have a couple of new artists in the gallery. Catherine Ingleby, a wonderful oil painter of wildlife and still life capturing the light of life in all aspects, both literal and still. Also they will have work from Andy Field, whose artwork is exquisitely detailed. Graphite  drawings with pops of gold leaf depicting beautiful architectural carvings from places like National Trust properties with the joy of wildlife perfectly incorporated within.  Andy finds quirky items with lovely shapes and intricate detail which he couples imaginatively, creating scenes to study and explore, and all with a link to nature.

Framer Kevin, is keeping incredibly busy and being asked to frame some very unusual items …… but he likes a challenge.  The bespoke framing service offers a wide selection of frames and mounts to choose from including hand painted frames in colours and paint finishes to suit your requirements. You name it Kevin’ll frame it!
