Kench & Co presented The Friends of Townlands Hospital (FROTH) a cheque this week for £115 which was raised from dress-down Fridays.
Kench & Co was acquired in April 2021 by Simon Thomas who is Managing Director of Ridgefield Consulting, Oxford. This is following Eric Kench’s retirement after 40 years of establishing this independent firm of Chartered Accountants.
The expert team of 9 at Kench & Co have remained but are now further bolstered by a team of 12 from the Oxford practice. Combined, their vast knowledge and experience will only lend itself to growing Kench’s reputation for excellence, quality, and detail even further. During the past 15 months of new management,
Simon said, “The local community of Henley-on-Thames is important to all of us at Kench & Co, Chartered Accountants. We continue to be an integral pillar to Henley’s local community, supporting events and local causes. Every month we have a “dress down” day and our team are invited to donate to charity. Most recently we donated over £100 to the Townlands Hospital League of Friends, a hugely worthwhile cause which supplies much needed extra amenities to outpatients. From providing ultrasound scanners to neurological equipment, this charity makes a huge amount of difference and we are pleased we could show our support.”
Caroline Newton, Chair of FROTH said, “The Friends of Townlands Hospital were delighted to receive this donation from Kench & Co. FROTH exists to improve the experience of users of Townlands and we are grateful for all the support we receive from local residents and businesses to do that.”
