River and Rowing Museum Launches New Trail for the Summer

The River and Rowing Museum in Henley has launched a brand new trail for the summer as part of its bumper offering of activities for families and young people.

The new ‘Toad on the Road’ trail is launching today (Monday 15 August), during the Museum’s ‘We Love Henley!’ themed week, where it is hosting a number of activities to celebrate the picturesque town.

Families and young people will be able to follow in the footsteps of Mr Toad –  from its renowned Wind in the Willows exhibition – on his travels around Henley and take in the local sights, while answering questions along the way, with a prize to be won at the end of it.

As well as the trail, the River and Rowing Museum has a whole host of activities and theme weeks planned for the summer for families to get involved with and brings the very essence of the Museum, river, rowing, Henley and the Wind in the Willows exhibit to life.
