2000 Spring Bulbs Planted Out by Greener Henley Volunteers

Greener Henley’s wonderful volunteer group run by Sally Rankin have helped to plant 2000 native bulbs along one side of the Fairmile (1000 Snowdrops and 1000 Bluebells) over the last couple of weeks.

The bulbs were supplied by Henley Town Council’s Conservation Parks Warden Lex Vokes.

Lex said, “They will help support our pollinators especially as these are early flowering bulbs. It was a great couple of mornings out and an enjoyable social time had by all. The volunteers play a hugely important role in helping with the conservation projects.”
