Rupert House Choir Lift Spirits This Festive Season at Care Home
Residents at Henley Manor Care Home were treated to some Christmas entertainment by Rupert House School last week.
Pupils from Chamber Choir sang a mixture of Christmas carols and songs starting with Once In Royal David City and included We Three Kings, Oh Little Town of Bethlehem. The residents particular enjoyed the funny Mince Pie Song and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer with extra funny words. They finished with We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Rupert House School Headteacher said, “The children so enjoyed singing to the residents, many of whom sang along with them! We were made to feel very welcome and it was lovely for us all to have the opportunity to chat with the residents afterwards. It is a real privilege to play our part in the local community in this manner and we hope to be invited back again soon!”
Henley Manor Care Home General Manager, Ellie Faramarzian said, “Both the residents and team were thrilled to have Rupert House visit Henley Manor. It’s always a special day in the Christmas calendar for us as they bring so much joy and the children have such wonderful voices.”
