Angling Society Lines Up New Season With Merger & Updated Image
The Remenham Angling Society Henley Waters has recently merged with the Shiplake Fishing Club allowing members more sections in the local area to fish. The club will be known as Remenham Angling Society Henley & Shiplake Waters.
Henley born and bred anglers, Andy Crook along with help from Kevin Crook and James Morl who have all been fishing on Remenhams waters for over 40 years took over the running of the Henley rivers section of the Remenham Angling Society in January 2022. Andy said, “The Society was in need of some fresh ideas and an updated image. In our first year we have got a great new website up and running which to date has had almost 2500 visitors. We have installed new signage on Cottage Reach which we acquired with the help 2 new sponsors and we held our first matches on Cottage Reach in over 20 years. We have signed up 35 members so far with new applications coming in already for the new season starting on 16 June.”
Remenham also have a still waters Match section fishing on some fantastic lakes and ponds.
