Ian Jones graduated originally in Microbiology and Virology and has worked in the UK, France and the United States. His research topics have included influenza virus and he has provided frequent press comments during past flu outbreaks and on viruses in general.

This year the choir are celebrating their 50th anniversary. The choir is one of England's premiere Male Voice Choirs. Formed in 1971 by Gwyn Arch. Every year the choir puts on concerts to raise funds for local charities. Performing alongside the choir will be guest Soprano, Eleanor Stevens. Eleanor holds a Masters in Vocal Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Eleanor is delighted to be back performing with the RMVC, who she appeared with in 2019. Her most notable performances include singing the Soprano solo for Mozart’s Great Mass in C Minor, signing for HRH The Prince of Wales, singing the role of Mable from Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance.

The knights of Royal England will present jaw dropping displays of medieval jousting along with spectacular horseback stunts, falconry exhibitions, weapon displays and archery.
Almost 150 reenactors will bring medieval times to life, plus a Platinum Jubilee beacon lit daily for the celebrations.
