    This exhibition celebrates the Final Major Project of our Art Foundation students at The Henley College.

    Students on the Art Foundation study for a year, specialising in a chosen pathway within Art and Design and building a portfolio before progressing onto a degree course.  Students from The Henley Collage have gained places at Brunel University - Product Design, Nottingham Trent University - Furniture Design; UWE Bristol - Graphic Design/illustration; Plymouth University - Graphic Design; Middlesex University - Fashion Communication and Styling.

    SALVO 2017 Charity Gala Preview Party and Evening Shop
    5pm - 8pm 

    Join us to preview and party in support of Smartworks Charity ahead of the SALVO Fair weekend opening hosted by Sir William and Lady McAlpine.  A rare opportunity to view and shop from the many stands of architectural, garden and decorative antiques, industrial salvage, eco-friendly fashion, crafts and homewares with complimentary welcome drinks served on arrival. Luscombe at The Golden Ball will also be serving hot food and refreshments with a licensed bar available during the evening for guests to buy dinner and drinks and enjoy an evening in this incredible setting.

    SALVO 2017 - the original architectural salvage fair
    10pm - 5pm

    Anyone with a taste for the rare and unique would be advised to add SALVO 2017 to their diary. SALVO Fair offers an incredible showcase of architectural, garden and decorative antiques, as well as salvaged and reclaimed materials spanning the ages. Now in its sixteenth year, this year’s theme is Green Living with a variety of eco-friendly offerings including homewares, crafts, sustainable fashion and food. A pop up version of zero waste restaurant Silo, named as Britain’s best ethical restaurant, is amongst the highlights.  Pre-order a 2-course Silo lunch and enjoy a free weekend pass.

    Fawley Hill’s steam railway will also be open for SALVO Fair visitors.

    Another great family day out lined up, brought to you by the Shiplake Primary PTFA and Shiplake Village Nursery.

    All the usual favourites, Wacky Wheels and Fancy Dress Parade, Singing, Dancing, Doggie Showing, Fun Kids Races, Tug O’ War, plant stall, book stall and a huge variety of games stalls with prizes to be won!!!!

    Not forgetting the massive Bumper Raffle too with some fantastic prizes from local businesses.  There will of course be the BBQ, Bar and Teas tents running all day so nobody will go hungry or thirsty!

    Admission is £1 per person (Toddlers free).  All proceeds to go to Shiplake Primary PTFA and Shiplake Village Nursery.  We hope to see you there!!!!

    Penny Crofts studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design, London, England, graduating with a BA (Hons) Fine Art in 2002.

    Her work is continually evolving and in 2012 she took her unique brand of art using thermography to a higher level by photographing elite athletes in several sporting disciplines including Olympic and World Champion rowers Steve Williams OBE and Mark Hunter MBE at Leander Boat Club, Henley on Thames.
