Around The World - journey from Gershwin’s dazzling jazz-influenced 'An American in Paris' to the resounding bells and cannon-fire of Tchaikovsky’s '1812 Overture’, celebrating Russia's defeat of Napoleon at the gates of Moscow. Violinist, Min Kym, will play two showpieces for the violin including Massenet’s sensuous 'Meditation’ from the opera Thaïs, set in the deserts of Egypt.
