Reception wowed their parents with a production of ‘The Whoops-a-Daisy Angel’ which is a delightful story about two disorganised and very messy angels who are chosen to show the way to Bethlehem even though their usual job was counting snowflakes – not very accurately as they demonstrated! Fortunately there were lots of other angels on hand to help so the shepherds and kings made it to Bethlehem to welcome the baby.
The children in Year 1 at Rupert House (pictured above) enjoyed starring in the ‘Wriggly Nativity’ which tells the story of the first Chrsitmas in a catchy musical and movement way. Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem on a donkey and find the only place to stay is in a stable. The celebartion of baby jesus is captured by sheep dancing, and the Wise men bumping down the road on their camels!
