United Nations Debate at Gillotts School

Enthusiastic Year 10 formed long queues to the microphone to represent their country (previously researched in the morning) at Gillotts School 3rd Annual MUNGA (Model United Nations General Assembly).

Students were encouraged to dress in costume relating to their country. Deputy Mayor of Henley Stefan Gawrysiak chaired it for the second time. Every year the MUNGA at Gillotts is held during CPHEE Day by the Law and Governance group for Year 10. Mr. Gawrysiak was really impressed this year by the enthusiasm and the knowledge that the students demonstrated in their debates.

Students were asked what they enjoyed about the day and many replied, ‘Debating and arguing with people at the assembly.’
