TVPlogoTyre Air Machine Broken into at Esso Regatta Service Station

Unknown offenders broke into air machine on the forecourt and have stolen the cash inside.  The manager believes this has happened overnight on the 15 April.  The theft was only discovered after an engineer came out to fix the machine. There are no witnesses and no CCTV footage.

 

Cleaner at the Red Lion Hotel has Purse Stolen

On the 16 April between 1000 and 1500 a cleaner has had her purse stolen from her handbag which was left in the cleaners’ storage room whilst she was working there. .

 

Two Cash Thefts at the Christchurch Centre

On two separate occasions last week cash has been taken from a handbag left in an office location at the Christchurch Centre on the 16 and 18 April.  The room where the cash has been stolen is not locked but the door is normally closed and the room is off limits to members of the public.  It is likely that the theft has occurred when the victim has popped out of the room to use the toilet or make a cup of tea.

 

Rogue Trader Week

Between Monday 22 and Friday 26 April, the Oxfordshire Trading Standards Rogue Trader Team will be working with police officers in the Vale and South Oxon area, as part of Rogue Trader Week. They will be carrying out patrols to target any Rogue Traders who may be operating in the area.  Residents can assist with Rogue Trader Week by reporting any cold callers or suspicious looking traders seen working on properties in the area to the police on the 24 hour non-emergency telephone number 101, quoting URN 806 19/4.  If you see any suspicious looking people or vehicles in the area, please try to obtain details including the colour, make, model and registration number of vehicles and a description of any occupants/persons seen.
