Brownies’ Big Adventure


1st Henley Brownies joined 400 other Brownies from around the UK last weekend for a special Brownie Adventure Weekend at the PGL centre at Windmill Hill, near Horsham.

Eighteen Brownies from 1st Henley enjoyed a fun-packed weekend doing lots of different activities including abseiling, bmxing, fencing, an underground tunnel maze and a tricky obstacle course.  All the Brownies managed to abseil down the BrowniesPGL2high tower, Michaela Clarke Brownie leader said, “I was really proud of all of them as some of them really overcame their fears to do this.”  She also added, “This event was the first away from home for many of them and they all really took up the challenge for their first Brownie Adventure away.”
