Music on the Meadows… Line-up Announced

The line-up for the Music on the Meadows on the 1st June has just been announced and includes Jamie Bruce from the Voice and many other local bands and artists who have performed locally and at the Henley Youth Festival and the Gillotts Superstars events.  Click here to see the full line up. Magoos and Eight Ray Music have organised and hosted the Battle of the Bands competition and the final of this will be staged at this festival.

Each performer will play a Beatles song in their own style in tribute to George Harrison after his widow Olivia wanted to have a community project rather than a memorial statue in Henley.

Other attractions will include refreshments including a licensed bar run by Magoos, face-painting, the painting of a large canvas and performances by the Acorn Music Theatre Company.

The new Mayor, Stefan Gawrysiak said, “This is going to be a fantastic event for the community, come along and bring a picnic.”
