House Burglary on Mill Lane
Offenders have gained entry to a house on Mill Lane between 28 August and 9 September. It is unknown how they entered. They have done a tidy search of the whole house and jewellery and a camera have been taken.
Fake £50 Note Used
On 27 August, a male suspect described as in his 30s, wearing a grey t-shirt, with possibly an Irish accent brought some hair products from the Barber Shop in Duke Street and handed in a £50 note. The staff member thought it was suspicious but she gave him the change. Afterwards it was confirmed that it was fake.
Damage to Security Fitting at Gillotts School
A new padlock was fitted on to a fence at Gillotts School after school on Friday 6 September. On Monday morning it was reported that the padlock had been cut off.
Wallet Stolen in Waitrose
A wallet was stolen from a shopping basket in Waitrose last Friday (6 September) between 1815 and 1830 hours.
