The Thames and Chilterns in Bloom Regional Award presentations took place on Wednesday at The Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin, Reading. The event was hosted by the Mayor of Reading, Councillor Marion Livingston and attended by Mayors and other dignitaries from across the Thames and Chilterns region, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
For the first time ever, Henley won gold for the second consecutive year in the Britain in Bloom Regional Awards – Best Town category winner. Mike Kennedy said, “I am sure you will want to join me in extending congratulations to all concerned.”
Henley will find out about our entry into the national awards on 12 October.
