Totie Wins OpenMic UK Regional Final

On Sunday (27 October) Henley singer and songwriter Totie Southwell was the winner in the Over 21 category in the Regional Final for OpenMicUK . She performed one of her original songs, ‘Holding On’;  she wrote this song as part of a soundtrack for a short film that went to Cannes Film Festival this year. The next step for her in the competition is to compete in the Area Final in London on Sunday 24 November and if she’s successful she will then progress to the UK final at the O2 in London. Totie said, “A massive thank you to everyone who came on Sunday and supported me and the other acts too.”

Totie also won the prize for selling the most tickets, so she will receive professional photos from last night and a vocal lesson and studio time.
