Christmas Spirit Underway with Wreath Making Workshop at Hotel Du Vin

On Sunday 1 December from 1.30pm Hotel Du Vin will be hosting a wreath making workshop directed by Jo Wise of Green & Gourgeous. The company is a cut flower grower and florist based on a small farm in South Oxfordshire and has earned national and international recognition for their soft, natural and not ‘over arranged’ style.

Jo Wise is the business’ florist whilst Rachel Siegfried is the grower, and their brain child Green & Gorgeous was born from a desire to produce locally grown flower with an emphasis on being environmentally friendly. The workshop welcomes all abilities and the session will explore different ways to construct a Christmas wreath, focusing on the traditional moss covered frame technique but embracing all possible ingredients which can be found in the garden. Attendees will be able to produce their own sustainably  grown wreath to take home with them as well as enjoy a glass of mulled wine.
