Jack’s Gallery Now Has Two Showrooms
Update August 2015
Jack’s Gallery is now only at 36 Hart Street, Henley
It is open daily 10-5pm
Last week Jack’s Gallery expanded back into their original shop at 34 Hart Street which was recently vacated by the closure of the Dashwood Boat Club clothing store. The existing shop, at 36 Hart Street, is now completely dedicated to Jack Vettriano art. This renown Scottish artist’s paintings are reminiscent of film noir and often feature romantic or erotic themes. In 2004 his best-known painting, The Singing Butler, sold at auction for just under £750,000.
In the new shop Jack has some lovely local view paintings from local artists; Angela Fielder and Ben Cook. He also has some great novelty pictures of Henley with animals in them (see right). Jack said, “These are proving very popular as Christmas gifts for this year.”
Jack added, “It’s great to have the old shop back again and to have more space to display the artworks.” He’d love you to pop in and see him and if you mention that you’ve seen this story on the Herald he’ll give you a discount.
