Sam Brown to Host Christmas Ukulele Workshop

Sam Brown, the daughter of legendary guitarist Joe Brown, has organised a Christmas ukulele workshop in conjunction with her highly successful group ‘the Fabulous Ukulele Club’. The soul songstress found fame with her single ‘Stop!’ but was forced to change musical direction when she starting losing her voice. After releasing a Ukulele and Voice CD in 2005, Sam set up ‘Sam Brown’s International Ukulele Club of Sonning Common’ which swiftly earned such high acclaim and success it snowballed into the formation of two more ukulele groups by Ms Brown.

Sam is holding the event at the Canarta Room at Hotel Du Vin, where attendees will be tutored and provided with music sheets to take home, as well as the option to purchase a ukulele. Tea, coffee and water are provided plus a glass of Mulled Wine.
