Boat Show Brings Out the Best from the Thames & Local Area

Boat-Show-LogoVal Wyatt Marine, Hobbs of Henley, and Bushnells are excited to announce that their annual Henley & Wargrave Boat Show returns on the 12 & 13 April, 10am – 4pm.

The event, which is free to attend, was first created as a way to showcase the best of boating in the Henley & Wargrave area. In its third year, the show is expanding to be more of a celebration of being on and near the water whilst also promoting smaller high quality local businesses.

The show takes place between the two marinas in Wargrave (Val Wyatt Marine and Bushnells) in order for visitors to get a feel for what traditional boat yards can offer.Hobbs2

Hobbs of Henley will be providing free boat trips across the weekend between the two marinas in Wargrave with their skilled staff and fleet of hire boats; this is a great opportunity to experience the river first hand and provides an exciting family outing.

The weekend features the opportunity to see new and used boats for sale, tour the marinas, and enjoy a free boat trip!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff will be on hand all weekend to show you around any boats that could be of interest to you as well as to answer any mooring, launching or general questions you might have.

As well as a great way to experience life by the river, over the weekend there will be:

  • A huge variety of Used Boats available to buy
  • New boat displays, with starter boats from £2,000, there will also be on display the hugely popular Dutch “sloepen” day boats that are commonly seen in the area built by Interboat (Val Wyatt) and Antaris (Bushnells), as well as the larger cruisers – built to live aboard!
  • Marina tours and services
  • Love Henley Market at Val Wyatt Marine:  the quarterly, seasonal Spring market celebrating the best of high end local producers, growers, artists and businesses with some unusual local crafts and services.
  • Refreshments

… And of course, the FREE boat trips!
