All the musicians have been invited to perform at Magoos in the run up to the festival on the 11, 18, 25 June and 16 July from 7-9pm and will be mentored by JJ from Eight Ray Music and Jamie Bruce.  Most of the artists and bands moto-launch-2014-2are from Henley and include Lottie and Louis Bell, Sophie Lloyd, Alex Cousins, Jade Allum, Emily McDonagh, Riona Fumi, Fish Hook, To Burn and Blossom, Chasing Waves, Teelow, The Handsomes Devil Club to name just a few.  There are a few spaces left so if you’d like to perform, please contact Jake on 07825 776042.

The big finale will be by local Beatles tribute band the ‘Razzles’ accompanied by FlashMob with ‘Junior Guevarra’.

As well as the music, there will be a great variety of excellent food and drinks stalls including Indian and Thai cuisine, well known Henley resident Otto’s food stall and  Magoos Bar.

Organiser Maggie Atkinson said, “This year’s artistic WOW factor will be the wacky and bizarre hair sculpture provided by local hair salon La Medusa on Station Road together with amazing face and body art.  Perfect for getting you into the spirit for a bit of bonkers dancing.”

moto-launch-2014-3“We’re delighted to have HEDFAS, Cavex Wines and the GeoGroup as sponsors for the event and we would really welcome donations from local organisations now for raffle prizes.  All profits will be going towards the ‘ListeningRoomz’ which is upstairs at Magoos – supporting the town’s youth.

Every part of the festival is being run by youngsters including the security which is headed up by Jess Burge (16) this year.  More volunteers are needed for the event to help out in all areas.  If you’d like to get involved, please contact Maggie on 07875 203409.
