Henley Branch User Group Needs Your Views

fgw-train

At the recent public meeting in Henley, First Great Western (FGW) encouraged the establishment of a Henley Branch User Group to co-ordinate user and business input into future rail strategy in the area.   This group has now been established.   The Henley Branch User Group (Henley BUG) is aimed at those interested in service from Henley on Thames, Shiplake and Wargrave.

Of urgent note is the need to respond to the Department of Transport Rail Executive’s “Greater Western Specification Consultation” which seeks views on the specification for the next franchise for the Great Western region.  Responses need to be in by 26th June and Henley BUG would like to get the views of as many people who benefit from the branch line as possible and they are also collecting issues for the return public meeting planned by FGW.

The next Branch Line Meeting when Network Rail and First Great Western representatives will be there is on Friday, 27 June at 7pm at the Christ Church Centre.
