Thursday 9 October sees the launch of the White Stuff Autumn Campaign ‘Top of the Pots’, in which jam and chutney connoisseurs and enthusiastic amateurs are invited to concoct their finest creations, and bring them into their local shop where they will be judged by each shop’s local charity.
The White Stuff Henley on Thames shop has lined up a very special judge to help a representative from the shop’s charity – Child Bereavement UK – to decide which entrant has won their local ‘Top of the Pots’ competition.
Quarter finalist Christine Wallace, from series 4 of the ‘Great British Bake Off’, has agreed to judge the competition, due to the link that Mary Berry has to Child Bereavement UK, in which she is a patron of the charity.
The judging will kick off from 4pm, with the winning recipe announced by Christine once all of the recipes have been tasted. Each winning recipe from all of the White Stuff shops will then be featured in an exclusive recipe book that will be sold on the White Stuff website and in White Stuff shops in the lead up to Christmas.
