Screaming Frog, a search engine marketing agency based in Market Place, is delighted to announce that Dan Sharp, Founder and Director of the Company, has won the award for UK Search Personality at the UK Search Awards held at Troxy in London on Thursday night. The description for the award stated that it was ‘recognition of a talented and inspiring practitioner who has revolutionised the UK search industry’.

Dan founded Screaming Frog in 2010 with Graeme Radford and Jason Lock and the company has experienced rapid growth working with some of the UK’s largest brands and now employing over twenty people. The company boasts its own innovative proprietary software, SEO Spider, of which Dan designed and managed the build and which is used throughout the online marketing industry worldwide.

On receiving the award, Dan Sharp, Founder and Director at Screaming Frog commented:

“It’s a massive honour and a very cool feeling to be recognised in such a way by an industry that I’ve been a part of for the last decade. Most importantly, the award isn’t really for me alone, it’s down to the talented team we have here at Screaming Frog and support from the SEO community who have been fundamental in our roadmap for the Screaming Frog SEO Spider from the beginning. So a big thank you to the team here and everyone in the search community as well.

“I’m proud of some of our achievements so far, but I am way more excited about what we have in development for next year.”
