Great Networking Event Over Delicious Curry – Perfect Combination

Lindsay McLoughlin of ProofedbyLinds and Kran Sondh from The CookCurry Club have joined forces to launch a series of  business curry networking lunches in association with The Business Fit Club who present on key business topics.  We were delighted to attend the second one in the programme at Sue Ryder last week on ‘Time Management for Busy Business Owners ‘.  Unlike many networking groups, Lindsay and Kran have got the formula just right – an informal atmosphere, just the right ‘bitesize’ presentation, followed by the chance to network over a delicious lubusiness-curry-lunch01nch of home-made curries.

Grainne Ridge from The Business Fit Club started her ‘Time Management’ presentation with asking the delegates to think about what their ‘Time Objective’ was and how they would try to achieve this.  She then asked them to complete an exercise about the value of their time and to think about when and how to outsource.  The final exercise for the delgates was to write one thing that they would change from a list of profitable time management ideas on a card which would be posted to them in a few weeks to remind them of what they promised to change.

Lindsay said afterwards, “Kran from The CookCurry Club and I wanted to bring a new style of networking to businesses in the Henley area. The Sue Ryder event, with Grainne Ridge from the Business Fit Club delivering in-depth business presentations followed by a delicious curry, is a recipe for networking success. We are looking forward to returning to the much loved Sue Ryder Hospice on Wednesday 23rd September 2015 and the gorgeous Stanlake Park Wine Estate in Twyford on Tuesday 29th September 2015 when Kran will be cooking up two other business curry storms!”
