Dragonflies Montessorri Schools in Henley joined together for their annual Sports Day last week at Rupert House playing fields.  The children enjoyed pushchair, wheelbarrow, pony, obstacle and running races in the sunshine.  Even the youngest children who were only just 2 joined in the fun.

Afterwards the parents got the chance to race with the Mum’s Egg and Spoon race and the closely fought and very funny Dad’s Space Hopper race.

All the children were presented with a special medal at the end.

Lisa Drage, Principal of Dragonflies said, “It’s really brilliant to see all the children taking part.  Sports Day is an excellent opportunity for the children to build their confidence and increase their ability to do things in front of others. It’s also a great way to show that they can achieve something and see their parents participating too.  I’d like to thank Rupert House School for allowing us to use there excellent facilies again this year.”
