The Henley Festival is not just about the headliners on the floating stage… The 2015 festival, again this year, offered an amazing and diverse range of art, eccentric street theatre, comedy, dance plus fireworks every night.  Add to this the black tie dress code, the cheers and the armada of boats on the river – what a unique and quintessentially English festival we have right here on our doorstep.

The lower general admission price ticket this year allowed so many more people to be able to enjoy the Henley Festival and all its fantastic offerings.  It was also great to see the young members of the Henley community from Acorn Music Theatre group performing in the Hydro Hydro-Pyro-Mania Firework spectacular and singing with Lionel Richie on Thursday night – keeping a real Henley connection.

There were new Henley sponsors too this year; IBS Office Solutions and Manning UK with IBS hosting an employee party with partners on Saturday night instead of having a Christmas party this year.  Caleb Southwell, Managing Director of IBS said, “We were delighted to sponsor the Henley Festival this year and to support its charity work.  It was also a great opportunity to get everyone together with many of our guests experiencing the Henley Festival for the first time.”

The Henley Festival is a not-for-profit organisation and they would like to thank everyone for coming this year and money from ticket sales will be supporting local charities and The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts.

Charlotte Geeves, Henley Festival CEO said, “We are thrilled with the huge success of the Festival this year. So many of the things that we try and do happened beyond our expectations and the audience response has been fantastic. Happily our charity programme will be all the stronger from this year’s success.”
