At an assembly on Monday at Rupert House school, the children presented a cheque to Rosie’s Rainbow Fund from cake sales they have organised over the last year. Rosie’s Rainbow Fund supports sick and disabled children in hospital, school and in the community through music therapy.
Clare Lynas, Headteacher at Rupert House said, “We are delighted by the funds raised by the Friends of Rupert House cake sales. Thanks to their parents’ baking skills, the children have enjoyed many delicious treats and they have raised an amazing £897 for this local charity. Bravo to all concerned!”
