Rail Commuters Left Stranded

GWR Train Henley

Henley branch rail commuters were left stranded on Tuesday after National Rail engineering works overran late between Reading and Slough.  The first three trains, including the 0707 to Paddington, were all cancelled and remaining commuters were left with the relatively small 0742 service.

Marlow trains were equally affected.

The lines were declared fully cleared by about 0930.

Our friends at the Henley Branch User Group are investigating local station announcements in such situations.
