Award Winning Artist’s Henley Painting to be Mayor’s Christmas Card

Local artist Camilla Dowse who was named the Artist of the Year by the Artist and Illustrator national magazine last year has had her painting of New Street in the snow chosen to be printed on the Mayor’s Christmas card this year.

Mayor, Councillor Lorraine Hillier said, “I thought Camilla deserved some local recognition! She is an excellent artist and thought it would be good to have a local scene.  I’m sending out 250 Christmas cards with her lovely painting on.”

Camilla said, “Lorraine and her sister, Susan have always been very supportive of my work, they came to my recent private view in London and it was a privilege to be asked to provide a painting for the Christmas card this year.”
