Phyllis Court Club to Sponsor Patron’s Lounge at Henley Festival

The Chairman of Phyllis Court Club, Patricia Christmas,  has today announced the  Club’s support for the Henley Festival by sponsoring the Patron’s Lounge. Mrs Christmas says “The Henley Festival is an important event in Henley; with Phyllis Court Club located across the River Thames from  the Festival site, we are delighted to have agreed to sponsor the Patron’s Lounge from this year.”

Phyllis Court Club is celebrating its 110th birthday in 2016 and to mark the occasion it has been hosting  special events and forging new partnerships with organisations such as Laurent Perrier Champagne, and now the Club is thrilled to include Henley Festival as its latest partner.”

This special year also sees a decisive moment in the Club’s evolution with the news that a Sports & Fitness Pavilion has been approved  to go ahead by the Club’s Membership. This new facility  will offer Members  a state-of-the-art gym, exercise studio, treatment rooms and swimming pool, all in the heart of town.

Mrs Christmas continued “However it is the Festival which helps mark the busiest month  for the Club with Henley Royal Regatta the week prior, the atmosphere is always one of excitement with some Members  enjoying a pre-festival dinner before hopping on a boat with the Sea Cadets over the river, and others relaxing  in deck chairs, sipping  Champagne  and enjoying the music from the Club’s grounds.

As one of the UK leading cultural festivals the Club is proud to sponsor and support this local event and looks forward to this July, with the Rocket Man himself in town and Dame Shirley Bassey it’s sure to be another  fantastic event.”
