Tesco in Henley kindly donated two trolley loads of frozen food to the Chiltern Centre for Disabled Children last week.
Pamela Lee from the Chiltern Centre said, “Very many thanks to Ali Simmons, Community Champion, at Tesco in Henley. She always supports the Centre and this is much appreciated by us all. She kindly brings along a new DVD (& popcorn!) once a month for our film night, or a music CD for the children and young people to listen to on journeys in the minibus. She has brought along arts and crafts materials too, which the children loved using. She has made sure the Centre has received toys, new and collected from customers in store. ”
“Last week she gave us the opportunity to receive frozen goods. This helped us replenish our chest freezer and provided us with this basis of our meal choices for the next few weeks!”
