Great Mix of Comedy and Magic at Henley Fringe
Laugh with Tricks at the Three Tuns Pub
Phil Reed graced the stage first and had the crowd in stitches with his childbirth, dating and his appearance on the ITV show Take Me Out. Phil gave a fantastic stand up performance that reminded me of a cross between Russell Howard and Michael McIntyre. A great mix of observational humour and cheeky rude jokes.
After Phil’s set we were all given a treat by Phil’s partner Stu who wowed us with some really entertaining and funny magic tricks. From producing a bottle of beer from a hanky to pulling a (very non-traditional) “rabbit” from a hat, Stu was fantastic at pulling in the audience with some participation and producing little gems of magic along the way.
Phil finished the show off brilliantly with some jokes and a bit of very clever ventriloquism!. The audience were both spell bound and amazed in equal measure, a thoroughly entertaining show. The only thing that was a shame was that it had to end so soon! Another great performance to end a great week at Henley Fringe!
