“It doesn’t matter what age you are, reindeers put a smile on any face!”, said Kerry from Reindeers for Hire from Didcot who brought Blitzen and Bambi to the Chilterns Court Care Home on Saturday as part of the Christmas Fayre there. Jack (pictured above) had a great time feeding the reindeers and said, “It’s lovely to have them here, it has made the day feel very Christmassy.”
As well as the reindeers, residents, their families and members of the public enjoyed refreshments, carol singing by the d:two choir, a tombola, a raffle, face painting and Christmas gift stalls.
Tracey Van Zyl, Bursar at the home said, “We’re delighted to put on this Christmas Fayre in the new home as we’ve only been here for just over a week. It’s a great opportunity for families and members of the public to come and see the new care home and all it’s lovely new facilities.”
