Stephen Hough to Perform with Henley Symphony Orchestra

Henley Symphony Orchestra is very excited at having Stephen Hough perform Beethoven’s No. 4 piano concerto with them in their next concert at the Hexagon on Sunday 5 March.

Stephen is regarded as one of the world’s top ten concert pianists and as such in great demand around the world.  Midway between major tours to Asia and the States he will be playing in Reading – a chance not to be missed. He has won a multitude of prestigious awards and accolades internationally and has appeared at the BBC Proms 25 times.

The Guardian’s reviewer called his musicianship “the most perfect playing conceivable”. What a privilege it is for Henley’s own orchestra to accompany him.

The programme on the 5 March includes Beethoven’s overture to Prometheus and Holst’s great atmospheric and well known music “the Planets”.

The concert begins at 7.30pm . To book call 01235 859210, or visit  Also via Reading Arts on 01189 606060
